From 1949 to 1999 it was home of the german Bundesrat and Bundestag (upper and lower house of the parliament). Now it is known as World Conference Center.

Turm
Back in medival times the so called “Weckschnapp” or “Kunibertstürmchen” has been a prison and part of the town wall of cologne. In 1956 the tower has been converted in to a residential building.

Offenbachplatz
Cologne Opera. Closed in 2012, reopening was planed for 2015. Today it is still closed.

Build as head office of the I. G. Farben AG. After the second World War occupied by the confederate troops. Since 1996 home of Goethe-Universität Frankfurt.
