Turm
Back in medival times the so called “Weckschnapp” or “Kunibertstürmchen” has been a prison and part of the town wall of cologne. In 1956 the tower has been converted in to a residential building.

Cologne Opera. Closed in 2012, reopening was planed for 2015. Today it is still closed.

Build as head office of the I. G. Farben AG. After the second World War occupied by the confederate troops. Since 1996 home of Goethe-Universität Frankfurt.

Old Tjikko
Old Tjikko - one of the oldest trees in the world. It stands on the Fulufjället plateau in the Swedish region of Dalarna, close to the Norwegian border. Although its trunk is only about 600 years old, the age of its roots has been determined to be almost 9550 years.
